A view that changes at dusk, a host who remembers, a route taken for the pleasure of the detour. These are the places we send people to, and the ones we go back to ourselves.

Timing

Most good advice about this coast is a matter of when, not where. The same restaurant in February and in August is two different places. The same road at eight and at eleven is two different drives.

Arriving well

A car, a driver, a berth, a table held for the week — the introduction is to the person who runs it, not to a booking line.

What it costs you

Nothing. Where a recommendation becomes a booking, the house pays us. Where it stays a recommendation, it is simply what we would tell a friend.
